Stock Footage

Description:

When the time is too tight to make the content, you buy the content! There are many uses of stock ranging from templated glorified powerpoints, to b-roll, to background footage. You name it! There is a solution for everything!

Say for example you needed some footage of London, but going out into London for a day, recording the correct footage and having the right to film in London can be quite an expensive job, and you may not have the time for that, so instead you use some stock assets of London and save time and money.

The only problem with stock is that you have less control over the stock you have bought compared to if you filmed or if you produced it. An animated looping background for example cannot be edited to change specific aspects of it, like the layout or specific elements. 

Use: Use this to save time in a situation where you need to produce content quickly- which is pretty much all the time.
